Earlier today I had the pleasure of attending the final networking event before the South Coast Wine Festival. The setting was the stunning Priory in Wareham – though I’ll admit, I initially turned up at the Priory in Christchurch. Let’s just say I got a very thorough tour of Dorset before lunch!
Once I arrived, it was well worth the detour. We were treated to a fantastic three-course meal, good company, and of course, some excellent wine. The room had a real buzz, with conversations flowing easily and everyone looking forward to the festival itself.
A special thank you goes to Simone Ippolito, whose organisation and hospitality made the event such a success. It’s no small task keeping a room full of wine enthusiasts both engaged and professional – but somehow, Simone pulled it off effortlessly.
It was one of those afternoons that reminded me why I value local events so much: the mix of business and enjoyment, in a setting that felt both welcoming and inspiring. Now I’m even more excited for the main festival.
